Victoria Stitch takes a bath
Victoria Stitch loves to bathe in her bat-patterned tea cup. Although it hasn't scanned very well, the grey stuff is all glitter. Victoria Stitch loves to bathe in glitter. It makes her feel euphorically happy and sparkly.

New Header!
So as you can see I finally got round to making a new header for my blog. If you hadn't noticed, the one I had before was rather Christmassy themed and so I thought it was high time to change it!
Here are some photos I took whilst in the middle of making my header. Everything (apart from the glass jar of glitter) is made from paper. Oh and there are a few sequins thrown in of course!

I had great fun making all the tiny fairy sized pink envelopes and the pen pot and the two little books.
I hope you like it! Let me know what you think!

Baby Stitch
The day before yesterday was spent drawing Victoria Stitch as a baby. She was once a baby you know! A little gothling.
What do you think?
It was a strangely emotional experience. I looked at the pictures of her as a baby and then I looked at the ones of her her as a grown up/teenager and I thought MY BABY IS ALL GROWN UP!?

Faces
I came across this book again the other day when I was digging around in the attic. It was nice to look though because I recognized so many of the faces seeing as I had raided facebook for random pictures of people pulling expressions. I didn't just stalk facebook though, I went to the library and drew from a photography book and a couple of magazines as well.
Altogether I drew 190 faces! Here are a selection of them:

Victoria Stitch packs for holiday
Victoria Stitch is packing for her holiday.
She does not travel light!
She has so many very necessary items to bring...
Her striped swimming costume with matching goggles, flippers, hat and swimasaurus rubber ring.
Her Royal travelling crown. (After all, she is the Queen!)
Her complete art set, including crayons, colouring pencils and paint.
Sunhat and suncream- factor 100 for her delicate paper white skin...
Travel sweets and snacks...
A bucket and spade for all those sand Palaces she will order Pink Rabbit to build...
Make up and glitter (very important)...
Mustn't forget her pink toothbrush!
And that's all before she even packs her clothes!
(all writing and images are copyright to me)

Victoria Stitch!
Please feel free to become a fan of my facebook page for Victoria Stitch!
Also please feel very free to become a follower of my other blog:

I'm trying to gather some sort of following for it. Here you will be able to follow the exciting adventures of this naughty mischief-maker!
Meanwhile, in the real world, everything has been very busy. Between going to graduating ceremonies and having to find ways to make money I havn't had a lot of time to update. In fact I totally meant to alert the blogisphere to the time/date/place of my exhibition but never got round to it. Here are some pictures of it instead:
and one of me in my hogwarts outfit ^
Victoria Stitch, being such an attention seeker very much enjoyed being up on show so much!

Meet Victoria Stitch
Victoria Stitch and the Rainy Day
It is a rainy day and Victoria Stitch is bored. She is bored of tracing the raindrops down the window glass with her finger.
She has exhausted her dressing up box...her games...
and her paint set...
She is tired of antagonizing Pink Rabbit...
Pink Rabbit is tired of it too.
Victoria Stitch puts on her shiny black coat and shiny black boots and steps out into the rain.
It is time for an adventure!

Victoria Stitch
Of course now that it is all finished there's loads of stuff I would re do and change if I could but I think after a year of doing this sometimes you just gotta let things be.
Obviously I would love to get this published properly at some point but here are some pages from it, as it is now!
If you find yourself desiring a copy then I have made some A5 softcover copies available HERE.
Happy Monday! x
