Some Stuff

A couple more things I (Celestine) got for the castle last year (last year?!) for Christmas.

I posted before about the swarovski crystal castle, but I hadn't at that point received the other two crystal swarovski things I got (I knew I was going to get them because I spotted them myself in a second hand shop) So I had no photographs of them to put on here.

But now I do have photographs! So here they are.

A tiny swarovski crystal perfume bottle which Celestine has already swiped to display on her dressing table and also a tiny crystal carousel which actually turns round.

I love them.

So does Celestine. Her dressing table is starting to get very full!

She also really loves her pink and purple dragon.

In other news we finally have a move in date for our new house. We get the keys on Tuesday. TUESDAY!!! We are so excited!! I won't completely believe it until I have the keys in my hand though. We won't be able to fully move in until the weekend because of work.

I have suddenly found myself realising how much I will miss my dog. it sounds silly but I am so used to having him around, sitting by my feet, yapping for stuff, being a cute nuisance, keeping me company while I work during the day. I love his little personality and his velvety ears and his small barrel shaped body. Oh Barney!

I am being a bit overdramatic because I will only be 15 minutes down the road. But still. It's not the same. I will have to borrow him sometimes. Also please ignore the socks and shoes combo in that picture. I was trying on those shoes to see if they fit after they arrived in the post one day.

That is all. I hope you had a lovely weekend!

A New Years Eve Party

On New Years Eve something very special arrived for Celestine in the post.

It was an invitation from Dixie and Percy to their New Years Eve tea party. It arrived just in time!

It was a very fancy invitation because it wasn't just a letter. It was a matchbox full of things.

There was a string of baubles, a teacup with a lemon slice on the side, a tiny cracker (Celestine had never had a cracker before so she was very excited about that) and a starry letter down at the bottom. It was like a magical wizards box of treats.

Celestine sat down to have a cup of tea from the teacup to calm herself from all the excitement before she got ready for the party.

Then she went to find her very best gold bow to put on. Unfortunately she couldn't find it so her second best (red) bow had to make do. But she matched it with her very posh ruby necklace instead.

Then she put on her coat and checked the address in the letter one more time so as not to go to the wrong place...

And she was off!

She said afterwards that she had a lovely time. She said Dixie and Percy looked very smart with their bow ties and combed whiskers.

Wasn't she lucky to get invited to such a nice party?
